I. Howard Marshall (1934-2015) was Professor Emeritus of New Testament Exegesis and Honorary Research Professor at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. A leading evangelical New Testament scholar of his generation, he wrote widely used commentaries, including The Epistles of John in the New International Commentary on the New Testament.
