Gail R. O'Day (1954–2018) was a New Testament scholar and preacher who served as dean and Professor of New Testament and Preaching at Wake Forest University School of Divinity from 2010 until her death, following more than two decades on the faculty of Emory University's Candler School of Theology. She was widely known for her scholarship on the Gospel of John and served as editor of the Journal of Biblical Literature.
