Bruce K. Waltke is Professor Emeritus of Old Testament Studies at Regent College, Vancouver, and Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Old Testament at Knox Theological Seminary. A longtime Hebrew scholar, he served as a translator of the New American Standard Bible and on the committee responsible for the New International Version, and wrote the Proverbs volumes in the New International Commentary on the Old Testament.
